Kathleen is a CPA and Owner at Kanesky CPA, a tax firm with a focus on small business tax preparation and strategy. She is a graduate of Oakland University in Rochester, MI and life-long Michigan resident (aside from a short stint working at Walt Disney World in college). Kathleen has ten years of experience with a focus on helping small business owners take the stress off their plate both in the tax realm and navigating QuickBooks to ensure the “story” of their business is accurately recorded. She believes in a proactive approach to accounting and is happy to consult with business owners to help them make timely business decisions.

In her spare time, Kathleen enjoys researching genealogy, singing karaoke, indoor rock climbing, kayaking and spending time outdoors whenever she can. She resides in northern Macomb County with her family and Boxer mix dog Tobey.
